NEW RELEASE: ENFREUDIFICATION
a new zine by ME published by weirdpunk books
been sitting on this for a moment but am extremely excited to share that weirdpunk books, one of my favorite indie presses (or presses, period) has officially opened pre-orders for my story duology/zine with them, ENFREUDIFICATION.
ENFREUDIFICATION[1] features a duology of weird New York City narratives: SEMIOTIC, NY and HAECCEITY, NY, detailing the pharmacoscopic psychedelia of internet third spaces, cerebral compulsion for meaning, and a desperate need to belong.
[1] The author proposes the term ENFREUDIFICATION as the process through which an individual explores pathological and pathologizing narratives of maladaptive behavior under a psychoanalytic microscope offering the distance of the observer while having the intimacy of the experiencer.
for those outside of the USA who want copies, i will have author copies i can ship you, just comment or reach out. but for those in the states, i recommend getting on the preorder on the website — of which there is a very limited amount.
it was such a dream to work on this project with sam richard — not just a remarkable writer and editor, but also a real visionary with a heart of gold and the integrity to back it — and i am grateful to him for taking a chance on these very strange, neurotic, theory-freak stories.
